Dar Layyina has 9 rooms in the VILLA, the RIAD and the PAVILLON, set in its magnificent private grounds. The estate can be made private for groups of 8 travellers or more. Guests are free to choose the rooms within the 3 accommodation areas.

Firstly, because the property offers an extraodinary experience set in an exceptional garden planted with olive trees, palm trees and cactus: a magical perspective revealing the accommodation areas (Villa, Riad, Pavilion) and the relaxation and sports areas (2 swimming pools, poolhouse, rooftop, hammam, fitness pergola, pickleball, basketball and boules courts). Its multiple spaces give Dar Layyina the extraordinary capacity to adapt to your desires and your own rhythm: sport or total relaxation, intimacy or conviviality, serenity in the spa or partying on the rooftop...
Secondly, for its authentic character and warm atmosphere. Dar Layyina was built in the traditional way, giving it an undeniable charm that immediately immerses you in a Moroccan atmosphere: mezzanine, arcades, tadelakt, bejmat.... And when it comes to interior design and decoration, we had the privilege of meeting Toufik Belaffari, interior architect, designer and master craftsman of carved wood, at the very start of the Dar Layyina adventure 10 years ago. Toufik skilfully reinvents an art of living based on comfort and relaxation, skilfully fusing Asian, Indian, African and Moroccan influences with his own creativity. In his creations, woodcarving meets design to create an immersive experience, transporting you into a world of travel and escape. And that's not counting the magnificent orientalist paintings scattered around the property!
As many of you think location is everything, Dar Layyinna, located at the gateway to Marrakech on the road to Ouarzazate, offers you a haven of peace and nature with a view of the Atlas Mountains, accessible directly by car, without any tracks. And for golf enthusiasts, Dar Layyina is close to the Royal, Amelkis, Al Maaden and Palm Golf Ourika golf courses.

As soon as you enter the magnificent reception hall, you are immediately immersed in an authentic atmosphere, where every detail evokes the traditional charm of Morocco: the central fountain, the immense ceiling height, the mezzanine decorated with magnificent orientalist paintings, the delicately crafted woodwork, the warm tadelakt, the bejmat dome and the spectacular lighting. On your right as you enter, the kitchen and guest WC. On your left, the junior suite.
Continuing on, you come to the communal living areas: a classic lounge with fireplace and library, a Moroccan lounge with TV/DVD, and a dining room with modular tables that can be adapted to suit the number of guests. In these spaces, the thick walls, the discreet openings to the outside and the ironwork on the windows reveal the traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. These elements not only evoke Moroccan aesthetics, but also provide effective protection against the heat. The dining room opens onto large covered and uncovered terraces for outdoor dining, offering uninterrupted views of the large swimming pool.
Climbing the staircase decorated with magnificent orientalist paintings, you reach the mezzanine, which features a magnificent dome anchoring a monumental chandelier. On this floor you will find the spectacular royal suite with its panoramic terrace and a double bedroom.

Situated at the heart of Dar Layyina's magical view from the terrace of the Villa to the Pavilion, the Riad offers you another facet of Moroccan architecture with its patio lined with arcades opening onto one of the 2 swimming pools on either side. By standing at the heart of this perspective, you are equidistant from the villa's communal areas and the sports and wellness facilities close to the Pavilion.
The riad's 4 luxury suites are arranged in pairs on either side of the patio. Each pair of suites shares a private landing. This configuration allows parents with children to use them as adjacent suites, offering both the proximity needed for easy supervision and the separation to preserve privacy.

The Pavilion is the end point of the Dar Layyina perspective. Inside the Pavilion, you'll discover our brand new two-bedroom executive suite. As soon as you step through the superb patinated door, you are greeted by a beldi chic atmosphere: walls in soft, natural shades, carved furniture in patinated wood, beams on the ceiling, cabochon bejmats on the floor...
At the side of the Pavilion, you'll find our recently refurbished beldi hammam and, on its roof, our furnished rooftop. Finally, all around the Pavilion, the fitness pergola and sports courts await you!

On hot summer days, our two pools complement each other harmoniously, which is particularly appreciated on intergenerational breaks, where everyone finds their own space to recharge their batteries and relax. The first pool (11m x 11m), with its deckchairs carefully arranged in the shade of olive trees or parasols, invites you to enjoy the sun from early morning. The second pool (9m x 4m) offers a more intimate atmosphere. Heated to 28°C, it's the beating heart of sunny winter days.
Immerse yourself in a world of well-being with our Spa. In our hammam, steeped in authentic charm, discover the age-old art of Moroccan well-being. For centuries, Moroccans have savoured the unique sensory pleasure of the Hammam ‘Beldi’, a cultural experience imbued with tradition and sensuality, where body and mind are freed from the tensions of everyday life to regain balance and harmony. For those who prefer dry heat to wet heat, our Nordic sauna is for you, offering a unique experience of deep relaxation and body purification. Dar Layyina is the perfect place to share gourmet and festive moments: gourmet meals around large tables, cosy aperitifs in the poolhouse or festive ones on the rooftop to the sound of your own music, celebratory events with traditional entertainment or DJs around the large swimming pool....
Meals are served on the villa's open terrace, in the shade of olive trees and parasols, overlooking the garden and large swimming pool, or in the large dining room, which offers a cosy refuge on winter evenings. Our chef excels in both Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine. For lunch, enjoy a varied selection of Moroccan salads and grilled meats. In the evening, let yourself be seduced by taste experiences worthy of the best restaurants in Marrakech: tajines, tangia, seffa, rfissa, couscous... All our dishes are made from quality ingredients in a kitchen that meets professional standards.
For celebratory evenings and parties, we can organise a traditional festive evening around the large swimming pool with a gala meal and traditional entertainment (musicians, traditional dancers and fire-eaters) or a DJ.
The poolhouse by the large swimming pool provides an idyllic setting for sharing a late afternoon snack or drink in the light of the setting sun. Carved solid wood furniture creates an atmosphere of charm and elegance. The cosy plaids and soft cushions, matching the lush green of the garden, invite you to relax and cosy up, while the Berber plates hanging on the wall add a touch of authenticity and exoticism. In the evening, the raffia lights cast a soft, subdued glow, creating a hushed, soothing atmosphere, ideal for moments of togetherness.
The rooftop offers a panoramic view of the play area and the Atlas Mountains. Its wood and hemp framework creates a shaded area that protects a magnificent bar equipped for the preparation of refreshing mocktails. Its benches and low tables can accommodate all your guests for festive aperitifs and dinners.

For lovers of hiking, trekking and more in the foothills of the Atlas mountains: the mountainous landscapes near Marrakech offer a spectacular escape, with paths criss-crossing lush green valleys carved out of red rock and passing through isolated Berber villages. Hassan Bella, guides our guests in an eco-responsible approach to this environment and to Berber culture, whether on short hikes lasting a few hours or treks lasting several days. Sporting adventures such as canyoning are also on the programme.
Set off on a quad bike adventure in the heart of the Agafay desert! On arrival at the quad camp, prepare yourself with a quick safety briefing from your guide, before choosing your helmet and goggles. After a quick briefing on the rules of off-road driving, take full control of your quad and set off to explore this breathtaking landscape off the beaten track, with the Atlas Mountains in the background.
For those who love sliding, discover the first cablepark in Morocco to be set up on an artificial lake on the edge of the Ourika, where you can practice all kinds of board sports. The lake has been specially designed for water skiing and wakeboarding, and is managed by four-time world champion Francis Koot.

Just back from another wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. As with last year everything is as described. The place is spotlessly clean and the onsite service team are amazing.
